Welcome

Dear Rotarians of district 3220,

It is indeed a great honour to take up the mantle of Governorship of district 3220 I am extremely thankful to all, who have mentored me and helped me in my rotary journey. I very much appreciate that all of you have unanimously chosen me and trusted me to lead our district. I need your continued support to carry out my responsibilities successfully.

On the 1st of July, Rotary clubs across the world and the Rotary organization would see a change in leadership carrying a new theme. RI president Mark Daniel Maloney’s theme for the year is “Rotary connects the world”. This exactly is the reason that Paul Harris started the 1st Rotary club more than a century back to get connected with the people of his community where he had just moved in. Now Rotary has grown to be the biggest service organization much beyond the dreams and expectations of the early pioneers. We Rotarians have the golden opportunity to connect ourselves to our respective communities with various service projects which will benefit people of different walks of life - service that would have a lasting change in your community.

Presidents of all Rotary clubs with your respective boards go into the new Rotary year believing in yourself that you as a team can make a change in the world to bring peace and that through your service be it big or small that you can make a difference.

Rotary is indeed a family. So, embrace all members, your Rotaractors, Interactors, your family and your friends into this circle and make membership grow.

I wish all of you a successful Rotary year. My board, the district officials and I are here to serve you. Let us all together as a team “connect the world”.
